I fell asleep in the dentist chair

They’d shot me with all kinds of junk

I had a dream that was wicked cool

About this guy who was kind of a monk

He came out of a garbage can

And he spoke right out loud

To a great big crowd

He said

Do you believe in Wonderland

You wanna live in a Wonderland

Everybody keep your chin up

Keep your head down

Let your mind be clear

Everybody gotta do

A lotta work that you love

Before you get outa here

Everybody don’t you spend

A lot of worry time

Thinkin’ what this world is not

Just imagine us a good one

While livin’ in the one we got

He waved his hand

And the stars turned red

Oh man it gave us a chill

He said for real hey it’s no big deal

Anyone can do it at will

And we laughed and said

Do you believe in Wonderland

And he said

Can’t you see it’s a Wonderland

Hatin’ on the world

I started hearing his Wonderland

In my cynical Blunderland

He said you gotta think

About the good things

That’s what’s gonna keep you sane

He said to just remember

Everything that you see

Is coming from your brain

And he went back into his garbage can

And I woke up in a whole lot of pain

I said it doesn’t feel like a Wonderland

But I believe in Wonderland
