Fire In My Bones
There’s something living inside of my bones
There’s something living deep inside of my bones
But it feels just like you
And every time you leave it grows
You chase the flies off my headstone, it stirs things I can use
My meaning flies off my headstone when you give higher bliss and blues
I hope a little might come in, you make it sure I tighten mother’s rules
When you hide between the covers, your goodness melts in my hair
Underneath the cover in the snuggle of the grizzly bear
Where you hold on tight to my opinion but you let me catch my unawares
