The Nation I Love

Once this green and pleasant land

was a sleeping giant in a raging sea

now she's seen her warriors slain

this helpless giant wonders how can this be

My nation is dying, it fills me with sadness

the nation I love, is now filed with badness

my nation is crying, oh why so much madness

The nation I love has never had less

Where are they now her warrior braves

who's lives were proudly pledged to protect

they're now all lying in unmarked grave

for their love and pride they would never reject
