The Coming of the Tempest

This land we walk upon has become desecrated

A darkened sky roars... within the night

Coveted by boundless fate

Great and evil winds of tragedy

Annihilation of the shores

They run... for their lives, to flee from the deadly storm

I watch... with laughter, as I see their bodies melt away

At the crack of dawn I awake to feel

The calm breeze pass through my skin

Lunacy grips me...

Sorrow fulfills me...

I cannot speak to myself

My eyes get dim as I'm pulled right in...

This last breath is much too hard for me to take...

Standing by the sea gazing into the past

We hope it's the last

Time is our lifeblood and some will die young

Mother Nature eats us alive
