If I ask for a thing

That I should not ask for

If I pray for a thing selfishly

If I ask for myself

And not for my neighbor

Lift this veil from my eyes

Let me see

Not my will

Thy will be done

Prayed Jesus

Let this same

Prayer be mine

Everday

If this robe of flesh

That I'm wearing

Makes me falter

Guide my feet
