Today I leave to get away from it all

I'll board a liner and head for the Caribbean

Beautiful isles of the West Indies

Swayin' palms back into me

Down where the people are so carefree

I'll take a calypso vacation

Rum and fun, sea and sun

Wish I were there this minute

I'll leave my cares behind in the Caribbean

Port-au-Prince or Old Haiti

Visit them all, may even stay
