illuminate dark

but only a way

it's dark in the sky

and halogen lamps

will spark in your eye

'til black is as far

as your eye can see

stars are these sparks

that sit in the air

but close are a mass

of gasses and fire

and sparks are a thing

that travel on wire

and glow in a bulb

and light up the room

dark space

fills me

bright light

dark is a thing

which hides only when

electrical shocks

ignite metal thread

and jolt in a man

to make him fall dead

and light up our brains

to make us believe
