Super Moon

It’s been a long hard day in this small town

It’s had its ups and downs

As the sun sets in the sky

I feel alright

I’m tired enough to rest my eyes

But can’t drift off quite yet

Because tonight the moon is so damn bright

Somehow, I fall fast asleep

Because the moon it comforts me

And in the dark it brings me peace

I awake from a dream

I was sailing across the sea

As I looked up I feel the moon smile down on me

Such a great big world

And such a job to do

You gotta let it all up at Mr. Moon tonight

I know, we’re connected

It’s such a wonder to think

We’re all underneath

The same great big night sky

But we’re in your care tonight

So treat us well
