Return to the Past

I see wonders - I see beauty all around

Clear blue skies

And stars shining bright at night!

Everything that I use to dream of

Is right here - it's all in my hands

I am glad and thankful for living

No questions here - I'm alive!

Still it feels like there's a black hole

in my heart

Sadness seems to travel with me

All around!

Here the sun shine - it feels like forever

There's a smile - that won't leave my face

But I cannot get rid of this feeling

There's a place that's calling my name!

So I'll be going back to my real home

Going back to where I belong

To the place where it all started

Back where I found my call!

Everything is passing by so very slow

Now I know that I am heading

Back to home!

Time moves on - it feels like forever

When there's a place

Where you rather would be

And I'm s ad because I'm leaving

This wonderful place of my dreams!

Save at last - I feel the comfort in my soul

Peace at heart - familiar place I call home!

But the dream - it's slowly returning

I want out - I need to break free

Pack my bags - I'm ready to go now

To a place where I long to be!

So I’ll be going back to my dream world

Going back to where I belong

An endless journey

Is the life I live?
