Lazy

Life so long ago

sitting there

at the break of dawn

all alone

n without a care

unaware

of what lies ahead

the growing, the loving

my heart starts racing

the living, the dying

all so amazing

the laughing, the crying

like too much candy

then it all goes hazy

and you’re pushing up the daisies

the world just keeps on turning

with this course of nature

can anybody show me

why we try to break this

feels it’s kind of crazy

is everybody insane

the only home we have here

love we take for granted

live it all

as you can

seize the day

with both your hands
