Keep Our World Safe

My little boy was put to bed tired from his busy day

I tucked him in, kissed his face and said it's time to pray

As I slowly turned to leave the room I stopped to hear him say

Dad I need to talk to someone now, so you must go away

Dear God I pray please keep our world safe

You must have loved us quite a lot to make us such a pretty place

If You'll let me grow to be a man

I'll give you all the help I can, so

God please keep our world safe

They say You made this great big world in less than seven days

I know Your Son lived here a while, did You know I know His name

It's sad to think some people don't really love You at all

I'll do my best to change their minds if You'll let me grow real tall
