I Just Can't Bring Myself To Say The Words

A cold hearted thing to do to; With not let go when we were through

We just held it in with everything gone

And time made me realise that empty words were a cruel disguise

But as silence fell on my feet, well, if I know

I just can't bring myself to say the words "I love you"

It's so hard to get it right as we trip and we stumble through the night

But every now and then I miss you when you go

Is there a time and a place for us? I really need to know because

If the answer's "no", I'm pretty sure I'll let go
